Initial Product Concept
This project was fairly straight forward as I knew that I wanted to focus on creating a bento box out of vacuum stainless steel (VSS). This was a quicker process as I knew what features the box had to include as well as how I wanted the features to work. One key element that I tried to incorporate was CamelBak’s CMF style of both textured powder coating matched with raw metal.

The bento box would feature a silicone gasket in order to seal all of the ‘micro-environments’ as well as a pure VSS construction. Magnets within the interior layer of the compartments themselves would aid in both the locating and stabilization of each box while in storage / movement to keep spills and leaking to a minimum.
Full Product Concept
Below is the faux advert I made for promoting the bento box. I wanted to incorporate both the great outdoors, in lieu of CamelBak’s brand image, as well as feature the sub compartments of the box itself. The user is part of the #cleanplateclub.
